Chef/Sushi chef

We are looking for apassionate and skilled Chef/Sushi Chefto join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who loves Japanese cuisine, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You ll play a vital role in preparing high-quality sushi and other menu items, ensuring our guests enjoy a consistently excellent dining experience. What You ll Do • Prepare and plate sushi and other menu items following established recipes and quality standards. • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service. • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and properly store all ingredients. • Follow food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times. • Contribute creative ideas for new dishes and assist with menu planning. • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and specialized sushi tools. • Support catering events with high-quality food preparation and presentation. • Accommodate special dietary needs in collaboration with the dietary department. What We re Looking For • Previous sushi or similar restaurant experience preferred. • Strong knife skills and expertise in sushi preparation techniques. • Understanding of food safety and proper handling practices. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. • Menu planning or catering experience a plus.
