Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing accounting function for local entities
• Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting
• Ensure compliance with national tax laws
• Assistance to the business units on financial/settlements matters
• Other ad-hoc associated tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounting
• Communication with auditors

Experience and mindset

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics or related field
• A strong understanding of Brazilian tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements
• Accounting /Bookkeeping knowledge
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the financial services industry
• Excellent analytical skills and strong experience working with numbers
• Fluency in English is a must (everyday communication - oral and written)
• Efficient/ organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Team player
• Committed and with a good eye for detail
• Ability to work with tight deadlines in terms of project and regulatory reporting
