Amentum is seeking a Chief of Party (COP) in Washington, D.C. Metro Region/ Chantilly, VA for the anticipated U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded USAID Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) program.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief of Party (COP) will support multi-country infrastructure activities with strategic leadership and oversight of all project activities, as well as liaise with USAID, donors, government, and other stakeholders, while overseeing staff with responsibility for the quality performance and results of PGI.
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks to award a four-year Partnership for Global Infrastructure Task Order (PGI TO) under the Architect-Engineer Services (A&E) III IDIQ. The PGI TO will provide infrastructure project design and delivery support to remove barriers to strategic infrastructure opportunities, such as economic, legal, regulatory, technology, environmental and safety barriers. The PGI TO will provide infrastructure transaction advisory services and technical assistance on a flexible, rapid response basis to specific public or private sector projects that resolve legal, technical, or regulatory barriers to implementation.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall management and administration of the Task Order and will serve as the primary point of contact with USAID.
- Provide overall leadership and manage the Contractor's efforts to achieve the activity results.
- Guide day-to-day implementation and management to ensure timely, relevant, high-quality services of the contract.
- Reports to the Program Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields, advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant professional experience (following receipt of an undergraduate degree) in engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience for projects of similar complexity, scope and budget, including concurrently overseeing multiple engineering and/or infrastructure projects overseas.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience of successful management and leadership of engineering or infrastructure transaction advisory projects including positions of significant responsibility for staffing and budgeting.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in international development.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Federal contracting.
- Strong communication, presentation and coordination capabilities to help convey activity progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
