Chip Power Architecture Lead

We are now looking for a Chip Power Architecture Lead! NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional Chip Power Architecture Lead to help us build power efficient and performance leading SOC's. What you'll be doing:

• Work with chip architects to understand architecture concept and high-level system requirements
• Identify key areas for power improvements across Architecture/Software/Hardware and develop new features, defining requirements and dependencies across various teams.
• Creating power models of key SoC units to evaluate architectural tradeoffs in DL/ML (training/inference), CPU, GPU, and multimedia workloads.
• Drive improvements to architecture development processes to improve execution capabilities.

What we need to see:

• Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of Chip / Power Architecture experience
• Excellent leadership capabilities to drive execution of a chip project.
• You have meaningful industry expertise in SoC architecture definition - Peak or Thermal Power Management, Power Sequencing, Power Islands, Clocks, Resets, and Fabric/Interconnects Power
• Comfortable communicating and solving issues at all levels of architecture definition from micro-architecture to system level to software architecture

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with a breadth of System Architectures in different areas of chip design and power management microarchitecture.
• Inventions in one or more domains relevant to Power architecture.

The base salary range is 220,000 USD - 419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
