CI/CD Engineer

Job Title: Platform CI/CD Engineer

Job Location: Redmond, WA

Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for hardware platforms, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of software updates and enhancements. Automation specialist - to develop and maintain automation scripts and devices to streamline infrastructure management.

Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues ensuring timely resolution. Maintain and improve CI/CD tools and infrastructure including Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes etc. Develop and enforce best practices for version control, branching and merging strategies. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the build and release process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and above. Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Intel platforms. Working experience with version control systems particularly Git. Strong OS understanding including shell scripting and command line tools. Experience in build and release engineering, DevOps, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI or similar. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy. Experience working with build automation tools such as Make, CMake, Ant , Maven, Gradle or similar. Experience with infrastructure as code including Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack etc. Familiar with agile development methodologies. Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with platform validation and testing. Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $1,10,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
