Emerald Textiles is currently looking for Class A Delivery Drivers for our Los Angeles location. Our routes are local so you will be home everyday. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow assigned route • Perform Pre-trip and Post-Trip truck inspections • Verify Load • Loading of cargo and unloading at customer loading dock • Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to sit for long periods of time. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Class A license. • Proven work experience as a truck driver • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. • A clean driving record, good personality, strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills & the ability to work with the customer.
