You'll find yourself working with a team of designers, programmers, and artists to help build, implement and tune classes, items, and features for Diablo 4.

The ideal candidate will have a love of game design, a strong skill for critical thinking and analysis, phenomenal communication skills, boundless creativity, knowledge of Diablo games, and a longstanding passion for playing video games as well as experience in the games industry.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is either Albany, NY, or Irvine, CA.

Minimum Requirements

• Solid understanding of how to create enjoyable combat experiences
• Creative thinking to design compelling experiences
• Analytical skills for evaluating systems and interpreting player behavior
• Effective verbal and written communications skills with cross-discipline teams
• 3+ years of video game industry experience as a game designer

Extra Points

• Experience developing or playing action RPG titles
• Strong familiarity with text-based scripting languages
• Strong foundation in math

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
