Cleaner/Janitor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on both residential and commercial cleaning practices. Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. • Conduct floor care activities such as mopping, vacuuming as needed to ensure high-quality appearance. • Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. • Work collaboratively with other staff members to support overall facility operations. • This job requires traveling between properties to perform janitorial services. • This Job is night shift from 6pm-1am Monday to Friday (no weekends). • (Full-time only) • Attention to detail is a must. • Ensuring all building doors are locked, and lights are off after every clean. Qualifications • MUST HAVE Reliable Transportation. Job requires traveling between properties. • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred. • Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus. • Familiarity with floor care methods and equipment operation. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
