Cleaner/Janitor

Job Summary: Cleaner will be working either in office, residential, commercial and may be called to clean after an event or party. We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our office and residential facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents, employees and visitors. Responsibilities: • Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, furniture, and other surfaces. • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and other common spaces. • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs. • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent is often preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning role is beneficial. Skills: • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. • Attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Good communication skills. • General knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Availability: • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays may be required. Physical Demands: • Physically able to stand for extended periods. • Ability to stretch, bend, reach, and walk throughout the daily routine. • Physically capable of pushing vacuum cleaners and lifting up to 25-30 pounds. • Ability to wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment Job Types: Temporary, Contract Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per day Work Location: In person
