About the Role

Dandy is hiring an Aligner Prep Designer to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing scans on Meshmixer before and after clear aligner treatment planning. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, dental knowledge, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Edit intra oral scans and other STL files using Meshmixer with precision and efficiency

• Export STL files from approved treatment plans

• Add pontics to scans

• Create documentation from templates

• Collaborate with design teams and other operations agents

• Adhere to design specifications and turnaround times.

• Support any other design processes as needed

• Identify retentive zones and apply blockouts when needed

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Meshmixer for 3D modeling.

• Strong digital and technical skills

• Good knowledge of dental anatomy

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Additional Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer

• Patient enough to take the time in troubleshooting

• Good English skills
