Clearance Security Officer needed - DOD Clearance (SF 86)

Required: • Active or Recently active Department of Defense Clearance (SF 86). • Clean background record. • Clean and Active Class D • Active Drivers license ( Clean preferred; Active non negotiable ) • Reliable Personal Transportation. ( Registered in your name ) 1. You cannot uber or be transported to the base. 2. Only the SF 86 can be in the vehicle. 3. Vehicle entry only. Pay: 17.55 Hourly (OT Friendly) Looking for both full-time or part-time with availability on Sundays. Summary: As a Clearance Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while ensuring compliance with all Department of Defense (DOD) regulations and security protocols. The ideal candidate must possess an active DOD clearance (SF 86) to perform essential duties, including access control, surveillance monitoring, and incident reporting. Strong attention to detail, adherence to strict security procedures, and the ability to respond effectively to potential threats are critical for this role. Prior experience in security operations or military/law enforcement settings is highly preferred. Duties: - Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment - Protect property and assets by enforcing access control and following security procedures - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to potential security threats - Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations - Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action - Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities Experience - Possess a valid security certificate or license - Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field is preferred - Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment - Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures is a plus - Strong observation skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations with professionalism Computer savvy.
