Job Description

The HT Group has a nonprofit client in Austin, Texas, looking for a Client Services/Career Coordinator who is motivated, empathetic, and resourceful to guide job seekers in achieving their career goals. This role focuses on providing career counseling, coaching, and workforce services that connect individuals with training opportunities, career pathways, and employment prospects. Contract-to-hire Fully Onsite:Monday-Friday in Austin, TX- 78753 $22.50/hr Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive career assessments to determine interests, skills, and long-term goals • Guide job seekers through career exploration, resume building, and interview preparation • Educate participants on job search strategies, industry trends, and labor market information • Recommend and connect customers to workforce programs, training, and financial aid opportunities • Maintain regular contact with clients, providing case management and tracking progress • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify employment opportunities • Enter and maintain accurate customer data in management systemsRequirements: • Knowledge of workforce development and career counseling practices • Strong case management, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work with diverse populations and handle challenging situations with professionalism • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technology tools • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred • Workforce experience and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) strongly preferredAll qualified applicants may apply below or send an email [email protected] #HPIND
