Job purpose

BorgWarner is currently looking for a "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Client Technologies Specialist at our Noblesville Technical Center in Noblesville, IN. supporting our different sites.

Key responsibilities

A successful Client Technologies Specialist will:

  • Participates in the Enterprise Service Desk Queue Process
  • Executes the desktop services and standards (e.g. hardware/software, data locations, etc)
  • Executes the deployment process and desktop image components
  • Ensures that remote and on-site support issues are resolved to customers satisfaction
  • Maintains software version control (application and system)
  • Maintains License Management.
  • Maintains client security settings (e.g. admin rights, software installs, etc)
  • Maintains customer configuration options (e.g. screensavers, page layout views, etc) and incorporate into the BorgWarner Desktop image
  • Maintains client asset inventory, disposal, and refresh plans

What we're looking for

The Client Technologies Specialist is primarily responsible for IT Customer environment.The Client Technologies Specialist executes tasks to enhance and support the desktop environment, provides specialized IT services (e.g. high level meeting support, root-cause analysis, customer consulting), and provides IT facility related services (e.g. audio-visual environment, security systems, network (LAN/Wi-Fi), printers/copiers).The Client Technologies Specialist also provides on-site support for the Service Desk teams as needed. Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities.

A successful Client Technologies Specialist will have:

Education /Experience Qualifications

  • BA/BS Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years working in Information Technology
  • ITIL
  • Familiar with Project Management Methodologies/Processes
  • Root-Cause Analysis

  • Informing Drive for Results
  • Listening Action Oriented
  • Priority Setting Dealing with Ambiguity
  • Problem Solving Functional/Technical Skills

Establish good communication and working relationship with users and other sources of support and assistance such as:

  • Infrastructure Service Teams
  • Enterprise Level Service Areas
