Position Summary:The clinical pharmacy manager, in addition to performing the role of a clinical pharmacist oversees planning, development, supervision, and day-to-day operations of the clinical pharmacy team. Ensures the team collaborates effectively with a multidisciplinary care team by leading clinical pharmacy services and program development. Coordinates efforts between the clinical team(s) and relevant SIHB departments. Ensures compliance with all legal, regulatory, and funder requirements.
Organizational Structure/Reporting Relationships: Providessupervision of the clinical pharmacy team, reports to the pharmacy director.

Job Responsibilities
• Lead the clinical pharmacy programs under the direction of the pharmacy director and the clinical leadership team. Ensure that our clinical pharmacy services are innovative and effective, resulting in a direct impact on the health of our community under our IndigiKnow care team model.
• Support clinical pharmacists in oversight and supervision of clinical care teams. Ensure that population health and productivity goals are achieved for the clinical pharmacists and care teams.
• Perform comprehensive disease state management services including education, counseling, and active management of medications and disease states.
• Act as an educational and consultation resource to medical staff, pharmacy staff, and medical team members for primary care pharmacy and specific assigned disease states.
• Oversee clinical pharmacy’s interdepartmental collaboration including medical, grants, and data. Assist with data, reports, and proposals as required by funding sources.
• Supervise the clinical pharmacy team.
• Oversee the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines for clinical pharmacy services in collaboration with the pharmacy director.
• Lead Quality Assurance processes, develop, implement, and monitor compliance with workflow procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required:
•
• Experience or a desire to serve the AI/AN community and other underserved communities
• PharmD Degree
• Board Certification or willingness to obtain within first year of employment
• Completion of an accredited residency or relevant clinical experience
• Valid license as a registered pharmacist in the State of Washington
• Ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
•
• Experience working in a clinical setting or under an institutional prescribing or prescriptive authority protocol
• Familiarity with health and social issues facing American Indians/Alaska Natives
• Experience managing or collaborating on disease state grants.
• Personnel management experience.
Work Environment:Office hours are 7am-6pm Monday through Friday with occasional extra hours for events.
