As a Clinical Specialist reporting to our Medical Manager MDS Iberia, you'll operate across all clinical aspects of the MDS portfolio within the assigned geography and provide pre- and post - sales support in a clinical, training, and educational capacity to support the implementation of our Iberia business strategy related to the portfolio. The Clinical Specialist provides key scientific and technical support to the business. In this position, the Clinical Specialist will advocate best clinical practices for the portfolio and an in-depth knowledge of the relevant scientific fields, BD Clinical services and products, and efficient demonstrates this to advance a sales opportunity; prepare, present and demonstrate technical aspects of solutions as they relate directly to customer needs.

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

-About the role-

As a Clinical Specialist reporting to our Medical Manager MDS Iberia, you'll operate across all clinical aspects of the MDS portfolio within the assigned geography and provide pre- and post - sales support in a clinical, training, and educational capacity to support the implementation of our Iberia business strategy related to the portfolio. The Clinical Specialist provides key scientific and technical support to the business. In this position, the Clinical Specialist will advocate best clinical practices for the portfolio and an in-depth knowledge of the relevant scientific fields, BD Clinical services and products, and efficient demonstrates this to advance a sales opportunity; prepare, present and demonstrate technical aspects of solutions as they relate directly to customer needs.

Main responsibilities will include:

• To liaise and work with the Sales and Marketing teams to provide customers with clinical and product education / training to support BD MDS products and services in the region.
• Planning and executing clinically orientated training programs in the whole territory. Facilitate advanced training on best practices to key accounts/customers.
• To manage in - service process as part of conversion process.
• Communication of market and competitor information resulting from job activities to relevant BD personnel - specifically Management and Marketing.
• To build business relationships within hospital accounts to maximize sales of a specified range of products by creating and developing "Best Practice" procedures.
• To attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote both BD company image and selected range of products.
• Support customer complaints, investigations and resolution for complaints potentially affecting patient care.
• Compose and review clinical papers, posters, articles, oral presentations related to the use of MDS products and field of MDS expertise.
• To prepare and deliver formal technical and/or sales presentations at relevant clinical workshops, seminars and informal meetings.
• To build relationships and communicate with key clinicians and opinion leaders to maintain awareness of 'Best Practice', trends and procedures that are related to BD Medical Products.
• To support product trials and clinical audits.
• To keep update on relevant clinical practices and procedures via trainings and external courses

About you

Degree level in Nursing, the ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in the field of vascular access, be able to demonstrate a successful record in training healthcare professionals which will include the implementation of new products, able to identify new opportunities whilst maintaining excellent customer relations within established accounts and develop key opinion leaders and able to work closely with members of the sales and marketing teams to deliver training and assist in meeting key opinion leaders. You'll also bring:

• High level of English
• Portuguese and/or Spanish
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Hardworking, enthusiastic, resilient. Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing and completing work.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel in the region if needed.
• Welling to travel up to 60% of time
