The development team in IBM Cloud VMware Solutions is responsible for developing and delivering automated VMware virtualization solutions on IBM Cloud to our clients quickly and easily. We are hiring a passionate Data Analyst Team Lead to be part of our dynamic team to help development operations and business stakeholders understand transform and report on customer and IBM software usage licensing and billing.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Qualified candidates will be responsible for:

• Managing a team of direct and indirect data analysts that will help you provide insights into the various business functions we report on
• Building pipelines for automated data processing and report creation using Python Excel Amplitude etc.
• Identifying and gathering data from internal systems on license and billing usage
• Deep diving into data to provide unique insights necessary for us to make key business decisions
• Collaborating with business development and operation teams
• Assisting with other data analysis tasks as required across development teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics to include experience in the following:
  • Data acquisition processing storage and retrieval.
  • Data analysis and visualization.
  • Communicating key findings to business leaders in the form of high-quality written deliverables and oral briefings
• 2+ years of Team Leadership or Management
  • Work assignment tracking
  • Work decomposition
  • Applying Agile methodologies to generate project timelines
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to include using formulas pivot tables and charts to clean manipulate and portray data
• Demonstrated ability to summarize and present complex technical issues in written and graphical manner for a non-technical audience
• Good written and oral communication skills in English

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Cloud based services (SaaS PaaS IaaS)
• Experience using Containerized runtimes
• AI/ML model Training

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• A deep passion for data and its accuracy.
• Experience in other data analysis tools like Tableau Power Bi or other similar tools
• Experience in Jupyter Notebook Pandas and other data modeling libraries and tools
• Experience in evaluating and continuously improving machine learning methods
• 3+ years of experience with Python and REST API programming
• 3+ years of experience with consumption-based cloud infrastructure
