Cloud Software Engineer - FFT (Fast Fourier Transform)

Software Engineer FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) VeriPic makes software for Law Enforcement. We are a well-established vendor and have been producing this system since 1998. You will be working on our cloud base SaaS software platform. Your initial project will be to use your skills in signal processing to produce a product module to remove a patterned background from a photo of a fingerprint using a 2 dimensional FFT (Fast Fourier Transform). This initial project is expected to take about 3 months. After the initial project, you will be expected to join our existing team maintaining and adding features to our Digital Evidence Management® platform. Our platform runs on Microsoft Azure, iOS on iPhones and iPads, and Android devices. The company also maintains a blockchain product that was written in Go Lang. The software suites are sold on a SaaS (Software as a Service) basis which means customers either pay annually, quarterly, or monthly. Duties: · Write software using C, C++, Go Lang for the VeriPic suite of products. · Participating in product demos as an applications engineer. · Assist Customer Service in deployments of our platform. · This is a full-time position. · This position requires being in the office. This is not a remote position. Required Qualifications: · Understanding of FFT and signal processing. This is a required skill. · Understanding of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services · Knowledge of C, C++ and Go Lang · Knowledge of Microsoft’s IDE · We are a CJIS compliant company. Suitable candidates must pass government background checks.
