About the Role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join our growing Global Platform Automation team as a Cloud Solutions Architect! This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a diverse, global team, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure automation at Siemens Digital Industries Software.

In this exciting new role, you will have the chance to design, build, and maintain hosted environments for our next-generation products. Unlike roles that focus solely on executing pre-written automations, here, you will write and own your own infrastructure code from scratch, leveraging your creativity and expertise to make a real impact.

You'll work with multiple cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and tackle complex challenges involving AI, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerized solutions. If you're passionate about innovation and automation, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to our transformative mission.

This role is based in Poland, either working from our office in Wroclaw, or remotely from home within Poland.

Areas of Responsibility

• Design, build, and maintain containerized cloud-hosted SaaS and AI solutions.
• Write new infrastructure code for next-generation products using Terraform, Ansible, and similar tools.
• Automate deployments and streamline operations across multi-cloud platforms.
• Develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct data analysis, cleansing, and feature engineering to enable actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve architecture, infrastructure, and development processes.
• Participate in scrum planning and tracking, breaking down tasks and estimating efforts.
• Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in AI, cloud, and infrastructure automation, identifying opportunities to enhance business outcomes.

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and programming languages such as R or C++.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of systems (Linux, GNU tooling), networking (DNS, OSI model, routing), and virtualization vs. containerization.
• Hands-on experience with public clouds (Azure, AWS, or GCP) - certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing AI-based solutions, including forecasting models using traditional ML and deep learning techniques.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proactive, creative, and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills in business-level English (both written and verbal).
• A collaborative, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
