CNC Grinder Machinist

Job Requirements and Qualifications: • Studer S145 ID Grinder(turret-type wheel head, 4 internal spindle positions, Fanuc controller) • Studer S33 Cylindrical OD Grinder(turret wheel head, external grinding wheels, Fanuc controller) • Studer S45 Angle Head Cylindrical Grinder(Fanuc controller) • Performinternal and external cylindrical grinding operationsusing wheels up to 16” in diameter (aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and CBN for ID grinding). • Grind a range of materials includingstainless steel, aluminum, low-carbon steel, and Inconel 718. • Follow setup sheets, detailed process drawings, and prints withstandard GD&T callouts(runout, position, profile, perpendicularity). • Ensure part conformity through in-process and final inspection based on documented procedures. • Proven experience withprecision ID/OD grinding operations. • Proficiency operatingFanuc-controlled Studer grindersor similar equipment. • Strong understanding ofGD&T, surface finish requirements, and dimensional inspection tools. • Ability to read and interpret detailedengineering drawings, setup sheets, and process documents. • Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality components.
