CNC Lathe Machinist – Precision Manufacturing | 1st Shift | $30–$40/hr Location:Poway, CA Shift:Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pay Rate:$30–$40 per hour, depending on experience Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who takes pride in precision work and reliable performance? A well-established manufacturer specializing in complex metal components and assemblies is seeking a skilled machinist to join its first-shift team. This role is ideal for professionals who value quality, consistency, and a well-maintained work environment. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine metal parts to exact specifications • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges • Maintain tooling and monitor tool wear to ensure production efficiency • Conduct basic equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance • Deburr and rework parts as necessary to meet tolerance and surface finish requirements • Identify and suggest improvements to processes or tooling • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles • Follow all safety standards and operational procedures Required Qualifications: • Proven experience operating CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing setting • Strong blueprint reading and inspection capabilities • Proficient with shop math and machining fundamentals, including feeds and speeds • Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain consistent machine performance • High attention to detail and a focus on producing quality parts • Ability to work independently while supporting overall team success • Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person status) What You’ll Gain: • Stable full-time position in a clean, modern facility • Diverse projects — not just repetitive production work • Opportunity to expand your skill set and advance over time • Supportive team environment with experienced leadership Benefits: Use this linkbit.ly/4cGUQSh to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge’s temporary employees.From time to time Eastridge’s clients may offer additional benefits to Eastridge employees while on assignment.Information about those benefits will be communicated when applicable.
