CNC Machine Operator

KP Staffing Carrollton is now hiring for CNC Machine Operator for a manufactruing company in Carrollton, TX. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JOB SUMMARY The CNC Machine Operator uses an industrial CNC router to cut wood boards to specified dimensions for tabletops. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PAY & BENEFITS • Starting pay rate range for this position will be $18.00 an hour. • Benefits are offered when hired permanently! Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision! This position will also receive a good amount of overtime! WORK SCHEDULE • Normal working hours are Monday through Friday from 7am-3:30pm. Must be open to overtime. RESPONSIBILITIES • Enter program codes into numeric keypad to produce tabletops in shapes specific to products. • Manage the effective use of material and equipment to meet quality and production objectives. • Perform basic maintenance on the machine, replacing router bits to specs. • Complete regular maintenance checks and report any concerns to supervisor. • Lift wood boards from pallet to Shoda cutting table with assistance as needed from the vacuum tube lifter (ErgoLift) • Carry cut wood tops from Shoda cutting table to production conveyor and place on the line. • Work in a safe and productive manner in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. • Participate in plant-wide cleanliness initiatives. • From time to time, for the purposes of allowing employees to advance as well as to meet day to day labor needs, we may ask employees to work in other departments/positions outside of their regular job classification. • All other duties as assigned. ABILITIES REQUIRED • Dependable with good attendance. • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs without assistance. • Ability to lift and carry objects more than 50lbs with assistance. • Ability to operate basic hand tools. • Ability to read, write, perform basic computations. • Good memory. • Ability to use verbal and written communication effectively. • Attention to detail. • Ability to use a computer. • Standing/walking for a minimum of 8 hours per day. • Constantly works in a warehouse without climate control. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO APPLY?
