CNC Machine Operator

SUMMARY Join a high-precision manufacturing team operating modern CNC mills and lathes to produce tight-tolerance components. You’ll set up equipment, run production safely and efficiently, perform in-process checks, and keep accurate records to help meet daily schedules and quality targets. RESPONSIBILITIES • Set up and run CNC equipment to meet production plans and quality standards. • Load raw materials, secure workpieces/fixtures, and start machining programs; adjust offsets as needed. • Inspect parts during and after machining using prints and specifications; verify conformance and make corrections when required. • Change, touch off, and maintain cutting tools following proper procedures. • Monitor machines for throughput, tool wear, and alarms; escalate equipment issues promptly. • Complete production logs, record key settings, quantities, and any nonconformances with clear notes. • Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep the work area organized and safe. • Follow all safety practices; participate in required safety talks and training. • Collaborate with teammates in machining, quality, and engineering to resolve issues and keep jobs moving.QUALIFICATIONS • Hands-on experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment. • Working knowledge of CNC machining on lathes and/or vertical/horizontal mills. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, job routers, and specifications. • Familiar with basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and in-process inspection methods. • Detail-oriented with strong ownership of quality and productivity. • Willingness to learn new setups, tooling, and machining techniques. • Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed.COMPENSATION:$30-35 per hour #INDHP
