CNC MACHINE SHOP MAINTENANCE MANGER AND MACHINE OPERATOR Demco Products is a family owned and operated precision CNC machine shop specializing in the manufacturing of high-pressure filter housings and precision turned components. Demco has been providing high quality parts and exceptional customer service to our customers for over 70 years. We operate out of a 15,000 sq ft facility, located in Oak Lawn, IL near the southwest side of Chicago. Manufacturing consists of 30 CNC machines capable of performing turning as well as horizontal and vertical milling. We are an ISO 9001:2015 company with capacities of ½ diameter up to 12” diameter. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager and Machine Operator to join our production team. This candidate will report directly to the Shop Supervisor. The Maintenance Manager role consists of maintaining and repairing the following machines, primarily with troubleshooting program issues, electrical problems, and assisting with occasional preventative maintenance: • A20 Citizen Swiss CNC machine • DMH-400 Daewoo Horizontal Mill • NHX4000 DMG Mori Horizontal Mill • Minayo Lathes (BX-26S, 34S, 20T, 34T) • MTV-1310 Miyano Machining Centers • Puma 300 Daewoo Lathe • Lynx 2100LSY Doosan Lathe • Brown & Sharp • Warner & Swasey Lathes (M5020, M5060, M5000) In addition to being able to repair the CNC machines this person would also be tasked with occasional setup and operation of the machines. This would include responsibilities to load programs, adjust programs, change tooling, adjust feeds and speeds, and check parts to print. · Must have 5+ years of experience maintaining CNC lathes ideally from the following manufacturers: Daewoo, Warner & Swasey, and Miyano · Must speak English · Must be able to read small print and inspect small components · Must be able to stand and walk the shop floor to monitor machine operation · Must be able to lift 30lbs · Must be reliable and show up to work on time · Must have sound problem solving skills · Must poses a strong mechanical aptitude · Must communicate well and be able to follow instructions Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Located in Oak Lawn, IL Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • CNC milling machine: 5 years (Required) • CNC lathe: 5 years (Required) • CNC Machine Maintenance: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
