CNC Machinist

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a large manufacturing client located in Arlington, TX. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts:Monday - Friday 2pm -10:30pm Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator: • Setup & Operation: Perform frequent setups and teardowns in a job shop environment, including fixture design, tooling selection, and offset adjustments. • Precision Machining: Accurately use dial indicators, edge finders, and other metrology tools to meet strict tolerances. • Programming: Read and modify G-Code; program with Mastercam (multi-axis experience a plus). • Process Knowledge: Understand rigid tapping, canned cycles, and Fanuc controls. Apply appropriate feeds, speeds, and cutting depths for various materials. • Quality Assurance: Interpret and apply GD&T from blueprints; measure and inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications. • Collaboration: Work independently with minimal supervision while achieving on-time delivery and maintaining product quality. • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator: • 10+ years in a CNC job shop environment, specializing in milling • Mastercam programming: 5+ years (multi-axis preferred) • Blueprint reading, GD&T, dimensional inspection: 10+ years • Aerospace CNC machining: 10+ years • Technical Proficiency • Familiarity with Fanuc controls, rigid tapping, canned cycles • Ability to design/build fixtures and choose proper tooling • Proficiency in reading and editing G-CodeAbout Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
