CNC Machinist

Express is looking for CNC Machinists for our clients in the areas of Miramar, Poway, and Lakeside. You will need to be meticulous, strive for a safe and clean work environment, have previous CNC machining experience, and be available to work overtime. Job Highlights: • Set up and operate Mill/Lathe machines on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. • Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. • Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks • Proficiency in programming is preferred What We Look for in CNC Machinists: • Training and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, and/or apprenticeship. • Visual Acuity: Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machines: dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts. • Proficiency in the use of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, GO / NO-GO gauges, etc • Pay Rate: $25 - $40/hr (depending on experience) Schedule: M-F, 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) (start times may vary) Apply Now! • Call Express San Diego at (858) 784-3676 for an immediate phone interview or • Send your resume [email protected] • Visit our office at 5414 Oberlin Drive, Suite 110, San Diego, CA 92121 What Makes Express Employment Professionals Different?
