Job Description
Olympic Tool & Machine Corp. is a modern Tier 1 supplier and manufacturer of precision machined components and finished assemblies specializing in critical parts for aerospace and flight critical applications. Olympic Tool is currently hiring CNC machinists to be part of our team of recognized and appreciated manufacturing professionals.
Our CNC Machinists produce machined parts by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines; Lathe, Mill, or Grinder while maintaining Quality, Engineering, Production and Safety Standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Set up, and operate CNC machines using work instructions, drawings, procedures, tooling, fixtures, and programs provided by the Programming and Engineering Departments.
• Manufacture first run parts for first part in-process inspection approval.
• After first part in-process inspection approval, run remaining parts utilizing the tooling, programs, fixtures, procedures, and methods of inspection specified and provided by Quality, Programming, and Engineering Departments.
• Recommend any tool offsets or program edits needed to ensure parts continue to conform to established Quality and Engineering specifications.
• Continue to inspect your in-process parts utilizing standard methods of inspection and tools, periodically having parts inspected by the in-process inspection department.
• Satisfy all documents requirements, such as sign-offs, production quantities, and manufacturing notes.
• Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
• Monitor machine performance and conditions to ensure that machines are running optimally and are not malfunctioning.
• Perform other projects and duties within your skill sets and experience level as assigned by management.
Skill Sets and Requirements:
Experienced CNC machinists should have the expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well with the following:
• Interpret operation drawings, instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to set up simple and complex fixtures and tooling.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Visual Acuity
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work.
• Monitor machines and production to ensure quality and quantity of parts meet all Engineering, Quality & Production Specifications.
• Report machine maintenance issues and safety violations to supervisors.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.

Schedule:
• 9 hour shifts Monday through Thursday
• 4 Hour Shift Friday – Full day shift offered for most production and support jobs.
• Some Saturdays when production requirements dictate the requirement.
ITAR Requirements
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour
