Company Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machine processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks.
• Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to ensure precision in machined parts.
• Program CNC machines for optimal performance and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assemble components as required, ensuring all parts fit together correctly and function as intended.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Optimize prepared programs at the machine for speeds and feeds.
• Work with a variety of materials from steel, aluminum to exotics like Inconel and titanium
Requirements
• Bring 5 years minimum prior related experience in a job shop or similar prototype and R&D environment.
• Have knowledge of and experience with using G & M codes.
• Be well versed in geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
