CNC Operator Job Description As a CNC Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing facility, transforming raw materials into precision-engineered components. Your expertise in operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines will ensure that we meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. What you’ll do • Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure accurate production. • Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software while adhering to safety protocols. • Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to maintain product standards. • Collaborate with the assembly line team to ensure seamless integration of components into final products. • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise. • Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for assembly and materials handling tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety guidelines.
