CNC Press Brake Operator

• Greater Seattle area candidates only. CNC Press Brake Operator Responsibilities: • Good Communication skills: • ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications; and follow written and verbal instructions. • ability to interpret drawings and hit multiple bend lines in the right order; • ability with basic math, algebra and simple geometry; • ability to read/use angle ruler, digital or dial calipers, tape measure; • knows or has the ability to learn how material stretches when bent. • lift 50 lbs regularly; • ability to determine whether or not a part is possible to bend by looking at a drawing. * • Perform a full range of journey level, complex skilled welding and fabricating duties; to fabricate and repair industrial equipment; and to perform other technical maintenance duties. • Service, repair, and clean shop equipment and tools. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. • Applicants must be able to work overtime as workload dictates. • Operate a variety of welding and fabricating equipment in a safe and effective manner. • Team player with positive attitude and focus on quality, efficiency and safety. Welder/Fabricator Qualifications: • Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in welding and fabrication. • Knowledge of OSHA rules, codes and regulations; and occupational hazards and standard safety practices. • Safely operate associated hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, measuring tools, etc. • Mechanical aptitude with proficient shop math skills. • Drug free with excellent record of attendance and punctuality. • Current Washington State Drivers License • Five years shop experience.
