Who we are looking for:
Kootenai Health is supporting the recruitment of a board certified/board eligible full time Pulmonary/Critical Care Specialist to join Kootenai Clinic Lung and Asthma a thirteen-member practice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. With the support from six Advanced Practice Providers the practice manages the 26-bed ICU, a local LTACH facility and an inpatient pulmonary consult service. The outpatient pulmonary office supports a wide range of practice experiences with on-site PFT equipment, advanced bronchoscopy equipment and opportunities for additional practice expansion to the surrounding communities. An additional physician is desired to serve a consistently growing service area, increasing patient volumes as well the future retirement of a 30 plus year physician in the community. What you can expect:

26-bed ICU with a broad range of care opportunities including cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, trauma and general medical ICU patients
Kootenai Health is the regional referral center for the critical access hospitals in the surrounding 10 northern counties of Idaho
24/7 Hospitalist support for all non-ICU admissions
Full-service outpatient pulmonary clinic located across the street from the hospital
On site pulmonary function testing laboratory
On site x-ray, CT and MRI imaging center
Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative role
Inpatient Pulmonary consultation experiences
Full bronchoscopy services including EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy
Broad range of pulmonary and critical care diagnoses
