Combo Pipe Welder

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Combo Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of industry codes and standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in fabricating and repairing metal structures and components. Duties • Perform welding tasks using various methods including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process. • Fabricate and assemble ductwork and other metal components according to project requirements. • Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure adherence to industry standards. • Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. • Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean work environment. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Skills • Proficient in various welding techniques including FCAW, Stick welding, and soldering. • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to welding practices. • Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers for precise measurements. • Basic math skills for calculations related to fabricating and assembling metal components. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
