Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial decision-making processes by providing in-depth strategic analysis, business insights, and recommendations. The ideal candidate must have a strong business sense, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to interpret complex data to drive commercial success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Commercial Analysis & Modelling: Conduct detailed data analysis, forecasting, and modeling to assess commercial performance, business opportunities, and market trends.
• Data Interpretation: Translate complex data sets into clear, concise reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
• Revenue & Cost Monitoring: Analyze and monitor revenue streams, costs, and profitability metrics to provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
• Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities 
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide analytical support and ensure commercial strategies are data-driven.
• Excel Expertise: Create, manage, and optimize complex Excel models, including but not limited to VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization techniques.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance against targets.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects to inform key business decisions in the GCC region.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (BBA preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in a commercial analyst, business analyst, or a data analysis role.
• Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (advanced knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, and data visualization).
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of business and financial principles, including profitability, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights with a clear understanding of business impact.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
