Commercial Carpenter

Job Title: Commercial Carpenter Job Description We are seeking experienced carpenters with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in commercial or residential settings. You will be working on various projects including distribution, manufacturing, shipping, and receiving facilities, as well as maintaining office buildings, medical buildings, and other realty facilities. Responsibilities • Work on local projects in Jacksonville for up to 30 days before potentially traveling throughout the state. • Advance notice will be given for travel, and lodging, transportation, and per diem for meals will be provided. • Engage in projects involving commercial structures such as office buildings, restaurants, and strip malls. • Perform both interior and occasional exterior work. • Utilize general construction hand and power tools. • Work schedule is Monday through Friday,7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.Essential Skills • Carpentry skills with a focus on framing, finish carpentry, and rough carpentry. • Proficiency with construction tools such as power tools, hand tools, and tape measures. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Experience in drywall, painting, caulking, trim work, and door installation.Additional Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in various handyman skills including trim, finish, punch list, framing, flooring, painting, and demolition. • Experience with metal stud work, cabinetry, formwork, and concrete work.Why Work Here?
