Job Description We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to perform tasks including: • Wood and metal stud framing • Acoustic ceiling installation • Drywall backing • Installation of commercial doors, frames, and hardware (locks, closers, panic devices) Candidates should be able to read blueprints and accurately lay out framing systems. Responsibilities • Perform wood and metal stud framing • Install acoustic ceilings and drywall backing • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate layout • Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently • Follow all construction safety standards • Work independently and collaboratively • Maintain high attention to detail Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience • Proficiency with hand and power tools • Strong understanding of construction safety practices • Ability to read and interpret blueprints Work Environment • Commercial job sites across Chicagoland • Shifts typically run 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, depending on location • Required attire: hard hat, high-visibility clothing, and work boots Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
