Construction Project Manager - Phoenix, AZ Job Brief: Mark Scott Construction, Inc. is an established General Contractor focused in Residential & Commercial construction looking for a talented newAPM/Project Manager. This position is open for ourCommercial division. Primary Responsibilities: • Ownership of all aspects of the projects from Preconstruction through closeout of the file. • Manage and schedule all aspects of the project, including but not limited to, subcontractor control and some estimating. • Review all job costs, maintain budgets, and profitability. • RFI, Submittals, Logs and other project control. • Write Change Orders. • Creation of project schedules, maintain quality of work and timely delivery. • Accurate, timely and effective communication with all customers (internal and external) throughout life of project to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must. • Requires the ability to read and interpret construction documents. Qualifications/Experience: • Experience in Commercial construction. • Advanced computer skills necessary for success and Microsoft Office Suite. • Knowledge of model codes, regulations, best practices and performance standards for the area. • Ability to work with multiple projects and or multiple clients. • Project management and supervision skills. • Decision making ability and leadership skills. • Time management and organization skills. • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative environment. • BS degree in Construction Management, Business Management or relevant field is preferred, however related experience can be substituted (minimum 2 years related work experience) • Clean DMV history, ability to pass a background check.
