ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team to service or install a variety of commercial doors. Door types include overhead, sectional, specialty, high-speed, man doors, docks, and other warehouse equipment. On-the-job training will be provided, working closely with a lead technician until proficient. Upon completion of training, you will be equipped with a take-home service truck, company phone, and card. Technicians are required to work an on-call rotating schedule of seven days, requiring availability after regular work hours, evenings, and weekends to respond promptly to customer door service needs. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS You must be 18 years or older to work in a construction setting. Valid Driver’s License* You must have your own transportation. You must be able to lift at least 75lbs. Mechanically inclined with mechanical experience. Ability to handle a physical work load. Supply your own basic tools including: Impact drill, hammer, wrenches, etc. (We WILL work with you if need be) Ability to pass background check. Maintain safe work environment above all else. PREFERRED SKILLS Welding experience Door installation experience Framing experience Electrical experience High Speed Door Experience Rolling Steel Door Experience ADDITIONAL NOTES You are required to bring some basic tools including: Impact drill, hammer, wrenches, etc. All specialty tools are provided by the company.
