Commercial Electrician (Journeyman or Apprentice)

JOB DETAILS We are looking for experienced commercial Electricians with the capability and flexibility to travel and work various jobs in the San Antonio and Austin areas. This position is a contracted/as needed, with competitive daily rates and room to grow with our company. Overview We are a small/growing commercial electric company primarily operating from San Antonio to the DFW area. We are seeking skilled and dedicated Electricians to join our team(Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master). The ideal candidate should have a background in electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role requires the ability read blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency with various power tools and testing equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings and should have the ability to travel to and from jobsites. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems • Utilize power tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites while performing electrical work • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments Qualifications • Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics • Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage systems • Experience using power tools and testing equipment • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards • Ability to work on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment If you are a motivated Electrician looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
