Commercial/Retail Finish Carpenter (1099 Contractor) - Interior Fixture Installations (IFI)

Pay and Perks
• $25 to $35 per hour (based on capabilities, experience, and demonstrated work ethic/character/attitude)
• $35 daily per diem (on travel jobs)
• Travel, hotel, and flights covered by IFI
• Guaranteed minimum pay
• 4 hours per day for local jobs
• 8 hours per day for out-of-town jobs

We’re hiring experienced finish carpenters who:
• Know how to install millwork, casework, and fixtures cleanly and efficiently
• Can read and follow shop drawings without constant direction
• Communicate well with general contractors, store reps, and our PMs
• Show up on time, represent themselves professionally, and take pride in the final product
Bringing a dependable helper?That’s a big plus. We’re open to qualified crews and working duos, helper compensation will be addressed separately.
Responsibilities
• Install fixtures, trim, casework, and millwork in retail and commercial environments
• Upload daily job updates and photos usingProcore
• Work solo or with a team depending on the project
• Travel for scheduled jobs across the country
• Problem-solve around common jobsite issues like missing materials or other trades being in the way
Requirements
• 5+ years of legitimate finish carpentry experience (retail or commercial preferred)
• Must have your own tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel for multi-day projects
• Tech Capable - Ability to effectively use a smartphone or tablet for job documentation and communication.
• Be respectful, easy to work with, and professional with clients, coworkers, and site personnel
• Able to adapt on site, stay calm under pressure, and keep things moving
