Position Summary Bedco Mechanical is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our high-performing service team. This is a role for seasoned professionals who can take ownership of diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues in the field with minimal supervision. We offer competitive compensation, and depending on experience, can pay A Card rates. We work exclusively in commercial and industrial settings—with limited residential work. Key Responsibilities • Arrive onsite, assess HVAC system issues, and determine root cause • Perform repairs or determine and communicate next steps to fully resolve the issue • Work on a range of commercial equipment, including: o Chillers o Boilers o Packaged rooftop units o VAV Boxes o Pneumatics o General BAS troubleshooting o Other large commercial systems • Accurately document work performed and outline next steps for ongoing service • Maintain strong communication with both customers and ownership regarding job status and recommendations • Ensure timely and professional service that reflects Bedco’s standards Requirements • Minimum 8 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience (residential not included) • Strong diagnostic and repair skills on commercial-grade HVAC systems • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members • Detail-oriented in work documentation and follow-through • Holds an active Universal EPA Card • Ability to soft and hard solder • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams • Clean driving record • Ideally located near Edison Park or the surrounding areas • Must be responsible and respectful with the company vehicle and equipment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
