Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Mobile HVAC Service Technician Location:Austin, TX Schedule:Monday to Friday | Full-Time Pay:$30 – $45/hour (based on experience) + Full Benefits We are seeking a skilledHVAC Service Technicianto support a well-established commercial HVAC provider servicing a diverse range of facilities. In this role, you’ll work independently or as part of a small team to handle theinstallation, troubleshooting, start-up, and servicingof various commercial HVACR systems and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking for a long-term role with growth potential, training opportunities, and stability. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVACR issues on-site for commercial clients • Perform system start-up, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repairs • Complete daily service calls across multiple client locations • Document service and installation work with clear, accurate records • Communicate directly with customers, address concerns, and recommend system improvements • Maintain tools, service vehicle, and ensure parts are ordered when needed • Support company safety standards and confidentiality requirements • Continuously improve technical knowledge through training and reading professional materials Qualifications: • Minimum4 years of commercial HVAC service experience • VRF and BAS/DDC controls experience preferred • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills • Own a basic set of tools for HVAC service work • Excellent communication and customer service skills Education & Experience: • Technician’s degree or trade school certificate in HVAC preferred • 5+ years of relevant field experience or a combination of education and hands-on work • Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office knowledge is a plus) Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor (kneeling, standing, crawling, etc.) • Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical rooms • Ability to work in varying conditions including heat, cold, and tight spaces Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance • Short & Long-Term Disability • Life Insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid Vacation and Holidays • Training and career development opportunities If you’re looking to join a company that values craftsmanship, provides ongoing training, and offers long-term career stability, we want to hear from you.
