Commercial HVAC/R, Maintenance, Cold Side, and Hot Side Technician

Refrigeration Air Maintenance (RAM), based in Stafford, Texas, services and maintains A/C and refrigeration units primarily for restaurants, in the Greater Houston area. RAM has been in business since 1994 and we are looking to add an experienced technician to our team as we are expanding into the Austin Area. Candidates should have commercial experience with: • Preventative Maintenance • Air conditioning, heat, exhaust fans, MUA • Cold side equipment including walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, glycol systems, rack systems, etc. • Hot side cookline equipment including grills, fryers, ranges, heat lamps, etc. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following abilities: • Troubleshooting electrical • Finding bad compressors • Welding, recovery, and vacuuming • Use of a digital meter Job Type: Full-time employee Salary: $25-35/hour (40 hours guaranteed) plus time and a half overtime pay Bonus: Eligible for bonus and incentives Paycheck Info: Twice a month – 1st and 16th of each month Benefits: • Health insurance • Vision insurance • Dental insurance • Company provided truck • Guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week • Paid time off accrual based on tenure • Paid holidays • Performance-based bonuses • 100% company-paid health and 100% company-paid vision (after 90-day probationary period) Schedule: • Monday to Friday • On call 24/7 as we begin doing business in the Austin area. Requirements: • 2+ years of related experience with Commercial HVAC, Refrigeration, and Cookline Repair • Must have a valid driver’s license (no DUI/DWI on record) • EPA Certification Pre-employment screening of MVR required.
