Commercial HVAC/R Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVAC-R equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently in the field, ensuring that all systems operate optimally for our clients. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems. • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC-R equipment to ensure proper functioning. • Diagnose issues with HVAC-R systems using schematics and technical manuals. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Perform property maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all work meets safety standards. • Drive to various job sites as needed, utilizing company vehicles responsibly. • Collaborate with other service technicians to complete larger projects or repairs efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC-R Technician or similar role in field service. • Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, and refrigeration principles • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents related to HVAC-R systems. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities. • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. • Certification or training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
