Commercial Pipe Welder

Proman Skilled Trades is seeking a Commercial Pipe Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Pipe Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms for a Mechanical client. You will be working on commercial construction projects in the San Antonio, TX area. Looking for welders with experience in MIG 16 gauge Black Iron Pipe & 18 gauge Stainless Steel Pipe Duties: - Perform pipe welding tasks including tube bending, building, assembling, and fabricating. - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate pipe layout and installation. - Follow codes and standards for pipe welding to ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Collaborate with other team members to plumb and connect pipes for various systems such as HVAC. - Pipe Welder will use measuring tools such as calipers to take precise measurements for pipe fitting. - Operate rigging equipment to lift and position heavy pipes. Skills: - Proficient in pipe welding techniques and able to produce high-quality welds. - Strong understanding of codes, standards, and regulations related to pipe welding. - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. - Experience in tube bending, fabrication, and assembly of pipes. - Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components. - Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools for precise pipe fitting. - Ability to operate rigging equipment safely.
