Commercial Plumber (Experienced)

ABOUT THE JOB Several Plumber roles are now available at Campbell Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Southeast, located on the southside of Jacksonville, FL. Our plumbing department works on commercial new construction and commercial renovation projects. Much of our work is performed for the health care, Federal, hospitality and educational sectors. Role and responsibilities: • Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. • Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequences of installations. • Cuts and threads pipes, using pipe cutters, a cutting torch, and a pipe threading machine. • Bends pipe to the required angle by use of a pipe-bending machine or by placing the pipe over a block and bending it by hand. • Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes using hand tools. Joins pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints. • Detects leaks, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, and repairs and maintains plumbing. Additional requirements and preferences: • The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime needed occasionally • Must successfully complete background and drug screening prior to starting • Valid driver’s licenses and a clean driving record is required for foremen • Ability to work within a team/crew environment, as well as autonomously • Prior plumbing experiencepreferred Applications are now being accepted.
