Commercial Plumbing Estimator

• Salary starting at $70,000.00 and will increase based on the experience of the candidate. • Estimated plumbing project costs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings ranging from $10K to $3M in scope. • Interpreted blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to produce accurate material takeoffs and labor costs. • Collaborated with project managers and engineers to develop competitive bids and value engineering proposals. • Maintained strong vendor relationships to ensure accurate pricing on materials and subcontractor quotes. • Identified cost-saving opportunities and helped reduce average bid variance by 15% over two years. • Used estimation software (e.g.,Trimble,FastPIPE,PlanSwift) for digital takeoffs and bid submissions. • Attended site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess project feasibility and gather critical information. • Participated in project meetings and site visits to collect essential data and clarify project requirements • Work closely with the Bid Coordinator and estimating team to manage the bid calendar and ensure timely submission of proposals Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $70,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Fuel reimbursement • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
