Position Overview and Responsiblities: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Plumbing Estimator who shares our values of excellence, reliability, and pride in their craft. This position will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and timelines for commercial plumbing projects, ensuring competitive bids while maintaining profitability. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and construction practices, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. An ideal candidate will be able to jump right in - familiarity with Trimble AutoBid Mechanical, or a similar plumbing estimating software would be a huge plus. • Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial plumbing projects based on plans, specifications, and site visits. • Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and maintain relationships. • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and expectations. • Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and correspondence related to each project. Skills: • Proven experience as a Commercial Plumbing Estimator or similar role in the construction industry • In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and materials • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid Mechanical) and Microsoft Office Suite • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Benefits: • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, PTO, sick time. • 401k Savings plan • Professional development opportunities and career growth potential within a dynamic and growing company • Performance based bonus Please submit a resume to apply, we will respond to all applicants within 24 hours.
