POSITION SUMMARY The Commercial Plumbing Crew Leader will oversee and manage a team of plumbers on commercial installation and maintenance projects. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. OBJECTIVES ● Lead and manage a team of plumbers on commercial projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. ● Serve as the main on-site point of contact for team members and clients, providing updates and addressing concerns. ● Coordinate daily tasks and assignments, ensuring efficient use of team resources and materials. ● Perform hands-on installation and maintenance work as needed to meet project demands. ● Monitor job site safety and compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. ● Train and mentor team members, fostering skill development and teamwork. ● Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, materials used, and work completed. ● Communicate regularly with supervisors and project managers to provide updates on job status. COMPETENCIES ● Proven leadership and team management skills. ● In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation processes. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members and clients. ● Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. ● Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues effectively. ● Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and basic project documentation software. ● Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ● High school diploma or GED required; plumbing license preferred. ● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial plumbing installation. ● Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred. ● Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and safety standards. ● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ● Ability to work on active job sites, including standing, walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights. ● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. ● Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments. ● Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. SALARY RANGE ● $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus potential performance-based incentives.
