This position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality service. • Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment, utilizing schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately. • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan. • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to facilitate precise repairs and installations. • Conduct field service operations, including appliance repair, property maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting, often on-site at commercial or industrial facilities. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other diagnostic equipment to assess system integrity and perform repairs. • Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to ensure accurate documentation and compliance. • Collaborate with team members and clients to develop HVAC design solutions and implement system upgrades or modifications. • Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, and equipment between job sites. • Apply mechanical knowledge and welding skills for equipment repair, component replacement, and system modifications. • Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. • Support property maintenance efforts by addressing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical issues promptly and efficiently. • Proven service technician experience with refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems in commercial or industrial environments. • Strong understanding of construction principles, schematics, and HVAC design concepts. • Hands-on experience with appliance repair, boiler operation, and ammonia refrigeration systems. • Mechanical knowledge complemented by field service expertise, including equipment repair and maintenance. • Skilled in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Experience with welding, plumbing, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. • Familiarity with property maintenance and equipment troubleshooting in fast-paced settings. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Certifications or training in HVAC/R, refrigeration, or related fields are highly desirable.
