Commercial & Residential Electrician

Overview Techvolt LLC is a rapidly growing Smaller Electrical Contracting Business located in Auburn, WA. We handle Electrical work all over the Puget Sound and Other areas of Washington State. We are looking for an EL-01 Journeyman Electrician, that also has experience with residential installations, to our team. We are a smaller company that has the opportunity to work on a lot of differently electrical projects. Including, but not limited to, Cell tower sites, Prevailing wage, Public Works, Government, Private Sector, Commerical, Residential, and other various sectors of the industry. The candidate for the position should be well experienced in various electrical work, INCLUDING RESIDENTIAL, and able to manage other electricians/trainees to move towards project completions. This is a golden opportunity for someone to be elevated to a management/foreman position once they show that they are capable. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. Needs to have a great work ethic and positive approach to their postion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, particularly within commercial and Residential settings. But should also be versed in Industrial and Low Voltage wiring/applications. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as experience with various tools and technologies used in the electrical field. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and construction sites. • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work. • Ensure compliance with NEC standards during all installations and repairs. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Residential Electrician is preferred. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage, and low voltage. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. • Experience in renovation projects is a plus; maintenance person experience is also valued. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
