Job Description

In this capacity, the commercial and strategy leader will be responsible to drive and process manage Filtration Business Unit (BU) commercial strategy, plan development and ensuring that the strategic vision of the filtration product management group is incorporated into Bioprocess sales strategy and programs, and that critical initiatives are executed to ensure the success of the business unit are fulfilled. This leader works to drive commercial Filtration BU initiatives implementation and measure performance against plan. Collaborates with the growth room filtration modality leaders to achieve business goals and objectives

Supporting strat. teams with market (competitor/ financial/ regulatory) data and information pertinent to filtration, supplying intel from product management and extracting from surveys

The role requires commercial experience with an understanding and experience within the drug development and manufacturing market of: Voice of Customer, product development, segmentation and branding to identify new opportunities to create customer value. In addition, the role requires leadership and strong collaborative execution, engagement in life cycle management/ portfolio optimization, product planning, marketing, customer research, commercialization, and implementation of go-to market product strategy and tactics.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manager for Filtration Strategy and Commercial initiatives will work with PM`s across filtration product platforms, peers cross Bioprocess Opco and functions to lead large customer-focused projects, ensure alignment across growth initiatives and help achieve business targets.
  • Employ project management principles, dashboards, and frequent communication to measure execution and performance of commercial projects. Includes Filtration BU representative in Filtration BU or Bioprocess growth rooms. Collaborate with the growth room filtration modality leaders to achieve the business goals of the initiatives.
  • Be the link between the Go-to-market team management, filtration modality leaders and the filtration BU and filtration product management.
  • Work closely with the global commercial, service, and product management teams to drive new business development opportunities.
  • Ensure goal alignment and track performance of projects with the regional and business line partners.
  • Assess competitiveness and drive clear plans to address gaps in our organizational capabilities related to product and service delivery.

Who you are.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in commercial and/or project management, product management or a related field in Life Sciences focusing on biotechnology products.
  • Solid commercial experience working across multiple regions with strong customer focus.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication skills
  • Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence.

Desired Characteristics

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with filtration portfolio and experience selling filtration products on a global scale.
  • PMP certification.
  • International management experience.
  • Innovation – ability to develop and put new ideas to action through collaboration.
